While it has been over a century and a half since Edgar Allan Poe graced us with a work of detective fiction or gothic horror, his legacy lives on. Within the Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy, Poe historians will retell four of his most famous stories with a modern twist. The chilling tales feature The Tell-Tale Heart, The Raven, Masque of Red Death and The Black Cat.
The speakeasy will take up residence at The Spire at St. Paul Square. While not quite as old as Edgar Allan Poe, the building is also from the 19th century, built in 1884! The historic venue boasts arched ceilings, golden limestone walls and hardwood floors.
Guests will enjoy a 90-minute interactive show as they sip on four complimentary cocktails. Tickets start at $55 and are available to those ages 21 and up.
