1. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes
Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience is the ultimate walking trail with tons of surprises! The experience can last anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes and there’s a lot to see. Make sure you have comfortable shoes on (while still looking like your cute wizarding self).
This experience goes well into November and December where Austin can be 65 degrees in the day and drop about 20 degrees at night. So you might want to pack a light sweater since the experience takes place at night. Invisible cloaks don’t count!
2. There will be a variety of treats to eat and drink
Either before or after your trek deep into the Forbidden Forest you can snack on a plethora of treats! No need to bring your own Butter Beer, it will be flowing to your heart’s desire.
Different food and drink vendors will be on site. So when you work up an appetite after all of your magical discoveries, there will be plenty of options to choose from!
3. Be prepared to tap into your inner wizard
There are many amazing creatures that lurk all throughout this forest. Can you win the respect of the legendary Hippogriff? What happens when you encounter those cheeky Nifflers and more?
There will even be room to cast your own Patronus, if you dare. Show off your chops and show the forest what kind of wizard you truly are!

Once you’ve left your mark and planted a tree, it’s time to take home a special souvenir! One could compare it to Diagon Alley but this gift shop is much nicer.
